Padova: how to get there

Padova is situated in Veneto. Padova is well known for its Prato della Valle, la Basilica di Sant’Antonio, University of Padova, that is one of the oldest universities in the world and many other things.  Padova is well connected with Venice airports, Venice city center and other Italian cities, so it is not difficult to reach it.

  • Venice Airport Marco Polo di Tessera  – Padova

Venice Airport Marco Polo is situated rather close to Padova. Line FSBusitalia operated by Busitalia Veneto offers connections between Venice Airport and Padova. A bus also stops in Venice  (P.le Roma). The bus terminal in Padova is situated near the train station. Average journey time is one hour. One way tickets cost 2,40 €, if you buy tickets on the bus, they will cost more.

Prato della Valle

  • Treviso Airprot – Padova

Line FSBusitalia operated by Busitalia Veneto offers connections between Treviso Airport and Padova every day. At the airport the bus leaves from Noalese street, that is situated on the right from the Airport exit, whilst in Padova the bus terminal is situated near the train station. Average journey time is 1 hour. One way tickets cost  2,40 €. Tickets can be bought in the ticket offices in Treviso Airport at the arrival zone or on the bus (with some extra charges).

  • Venice – Padova

1. As was mentioned before, line FSBusitalia operated by  Busitalia Veneto offers connections between Venice and Padova every day. Tickets cost around 2,40 €.

2. Line 53E di ACTV connects Vencie with Padova every day. Average journey time is one hour. In Padova the bus terminal is situated near the train station, whilst in Venice in  Piazzale Roma, bus lane B6.
