Salerno Positano bus connection is run by Sita Sud srl.
There isn’t a direct connection and it’s necessary to change bus in Amalfi.
therefore, the route is divided into two segments:

Ferry
In summer you can also choose the ferry Metro del Mare. The service runs every day from June to September and connects many towns of the Amalfi Coast including Positano and Salerno. It takes about 70 minutes and costs 12€.
Ferry travel is convenient to avoid traffic jam.
Car
If you don’t have a private car, it’s advisable to rely on transport services with private drivers and cars with regular license to perform the transfer. Many private companies offer to wait you at the train station or at the pier of the port.
